Ingredients
- 50 mlBourbon whiskey
- 15 mlHoney
- 15 mlLemon juice
- 60 mlHot water
- 2Cloves
- 1 sliceLemon peel
Method
Put honey and lemon juice in the mug; stir to combine.
Add the whiskey.
Press two cloves into the lemon peel, twist it over the mug, and drop it in.
Twist peel-side down to express the oils into the drink.
Top with hot water and stir gently once or twice.
Water just off the boil, around 80°C, keeps the aromatics intact.
